Let your imagination lead. Create a super successful career!
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” – Albert Einstein
Whether I talk to my coaching clients, corporate friends, entrepreneurs, or students, they all want successful careers.
And make enough money to do what they want to do, whether its traveling, comfortable life, luxuries or having zillions in their bank. Success usually involves a lot of hard work, long hours, risks and strategies. Even then, its not always guaranteed. In order to get phenomenal success, apart from the above, even more is needed. Capability and strategy need to be combined with imagination, imagination can give new possibilities, more lofty goals and unlimited potential.
While imagination is the key, yet it needs to be strategic, geared towards the phenomenal success you want to achieve. It begins with deciding what does phenomenal success look to you. It does not need to be a category that already exists. If the success you imagine is different than the categories available, create your own category and do it with no holds barred, without limitations. As Napoleon Hill said, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve”. So, if you can believe it, you can achieve it, even if it’s a new category.
When you create a new category, think about what’s your goal, is it to be different, is it to be better or is it to be the best in your field? Different is your unique way, better is better than others while best takes maximum creativity and imagination and is the most difficult, most rewarding one. When organizations create their category such as Starbucks, Spanx, Google etc. they think unique, imagine better, they create the best products, whereas individuals like Boxer Ali create their unique category.
For startup success, it’s important to not just create their category but also create a phenomenal product, culture and unlimited vision to how much it can scale. They also need to create their niche market, branding and an ecosystem, in order to get long term success.
Don’t give in to limiting beliefs, let your imagination lead you and look at obstacles as opportunities to think differently, to create new solutions. As Dr. Wayne Dyer said, “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”.

I am deeply grateful for the gift of eyesight.
I was not thrilled that I had to start wearing glasses at a young age for my myopia. I tried contact lenses, but they were too much of a hassle. There were times I wished I had larger or more striking eyes. Not that much anymore.
I love my eyes! Even more, I am so happy that I can see this beautiful world in all its glory. As we know from science class, our brain interprets the signals sent by our eyes through the optic nerve to figure out what we are seeing. Isn’t that amazing? And that all our brains interpret the color “blue” as “blue”?
I am grateful to be able to see the sunrise and sunset, the moon and the stars, nature’s magic from mountains to forests and the ocean, and the plethora of flora and fauna that call this planet home along with us.
I love that I can watch inventions of the human heart and mind whether it is on a stage or on screen and be transported to a different realm. I am amazed at the beauty in each and every one of us, how unique each of us looks. I highly appreciate being able to read books and work on the computer, as I am now writing this. I am thankful to the world of possibilities that my eyesight opens up for me. And I shall cherish and take better care of them.
They need rest, too. Getting a good night’s sleep, looking away from the screen from time to time, spending time in greenery, maybe even taking a Sabbath day with no screen time, doing cooling routines such as putting cucumber slices on my eyelids after a long day, these are all things that make the windows to my soul happy.
And, of course, a well-balanced diet rich in foods providing beta carotene such as carrots and lutein, such as spinach, and proper exercise. There are also yogic exercises to strengthen the eyes.
Dear eyes, thank you for all that you do.

Rosgolla (Indian cheese balls in sugar syrup) – Vegetarian Dessert
‘Rosgolla’ (juicy/syrupy ball) or sweet Indian cheese ball is an East Indian delicacy that is widely loved.
Ingredients:
(makes about 8-10 balls)
1 ½ gallon whole milk
2 small lemons or 1 medium sized lemon
1 cup white sugar (can use brown sugar or powdered jaggery for a healthier option)
4 cups of filtered water
4 cardamom pods
2 to 3 strands of saffron
Extra Tools:
Thin cotton cheesecloth and a colander
Preparation:
Pour the milk into a large pot and bring it to a boil.
Squeeze the juice from the lemon/s and add it to the milk. It should start to curdle.
Place this pot in a tray full of ice-cold water.
After a few minutes, strain the curdled milk using the colander and cheesecloth. You can keep the water and drink it for its nutritional value or discard.
Tie the cheesecloth with the strained milk residue and allow it to stand for about 2 hours until all the excess water has dripped.
For sugar syrup: In a pot, add the 1 cup of sugar to the 4 cups of filtered water. Crush the cardamom pods and add them to the water along with the saffron. Start heating.
Untie the cheesecloth and make small balls out of the curdled milk cheese. Gently drop these balls into the water and allow to boil for 3-5 minutes, ensuring that the balls do not come apart.
Take out the cheese balls using a ladle and place them in a container. Add the sugar syrup from the pot so that the balls stay submerged.
The ‘rosgollas’ are ready! You can also cool and chill them in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
